Not to bad for a birthday partyThis was a fun and unique balloon set. I loved that it included the "1" to signify it's a 1st birthday. The whale balloon was my favorite it was super cute and we received compliments on it. The cupcake with candle and stars were really nice added touches. A small hand pump is included to blow up the balloons and glue dots are also included to arrange the balloons and stick them to the wall. The balloons blew up easily and quickly. I was surprised and impressed by the variety of balloons. I thought there were enough glue dots to hold the various balloons. They were very strong glue dots, which for me was both blessing and curse. They held the balloons up well but upon testing with my walls, it did bubble my wall paint. I ended up having to hang blue plastic table cloths, which looked like water to match the sailor/whale theme and then used the glue dots to attach the balloons to the "water" backdrop. I only had one wish for improvement; I would have really loved for the set to include the "st" for "1st", but I was really just grateful to have a "1" in the decor, making it more personalized for the day rather than a slightly more generic "happy birthday" sign alone. Overall, I would recommend and happily buy again. It was a good variety, seemed more special than a regular banner and was a fair price.Not goodThese were cute, but they wouldn’t float when filled with helium. They have to be pasted on the wall with these sticky pads which are included. But snap those pics fast bc they didn’t stay up long. That was disappointing, but it still looked good while it lasted.I like the concept of this decoration. The whale and the various stars. Please see attached photo. I am happy with the way it turned out at the end. What I dislike is that there is no warning on how easily the alphabets can bust, it happened when pumping and talking resulted me to order a second set.I bought this for my sons first birthday. Color is nice, it comes with pump that’s plus point but I had to use another to pump. The thing I do not like it is not sticking in the wall I had to tape all the letters which took long time to put it.I was not anticipating the size of these lol! These things are huge!!We took turns blowing them up and in the end (whew) it was beautiful!! Really beautiful!!The only issue I have is the paste wouldn't hold and letters kept falling off the wall...however, I used some tape I had on hand and it worked wonders.This enhanced my baby's special day.. Thank youYou can't beat the price and the balloons that did inflate were beautiful but it really ruins your "happy"" when a letter leaks air :/ (pun intended). i had two faulty letter balloons. The big whale took forever to blow up and I ended up using an electric pump to fill it which worked well (would not recommend for the smaller balloons). I also couldn't get the glue dots to remove easily to then stick on the balloons and just ended up using tape. For the price I'd have bought two just to have back ups for the letters (and still be much cheaper than anything Party city can offer)! Very very pretty decor!
