This one of a kind brooch is made in solid sterling silver. The focal point is a beautiful pink and white banded rhodochrosite gemstone. The silver leaves are hand forged and the vine is made using a traditional Japanese technique called Mitsuro hikime. The leaves have been given a slightly iridescent patina to complement the gemstone. The pin back is also sterling silver. The brooch measures about 1.5 " in length and is about 1 " at it's widest point. The rhodochrosite measures about 1 inch by 1/2 inch and is 9.5 carats. This one of a kind piece will nicely grace a jacket lapel, silk shirt or scarf. It is signed M50 and 925. Your brooch will come in a fine presentation box.
